Quest Completion... or maybe NOT?

Well, I have completed both a HyperQuest and WebQuest activity on "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".  I am hoping this activity is complete and easy to follow.  I may have to make some revisions dependent upon the reviews I get from my colleagues.  I really am looking for positive honest feed back so that I can make sure these resources are available for me to use with my students and families that is easy to follow!  Please give me guidance as needed so I am able to complete this activity and provide an easy to follow and friendly use activity to my educational community!  Thank you, Vicki  :)

WebQuest vs. HyperQuest

I have completed the "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" HyperQuest.  I wanted to see what Quest Garden had to offer so I also designed a WebQuest.  I honestly prefer the HyperQuest because of the flexibility it has to offer me when building a Quest activity.  I also like being able to link web pages to pictures of icons that direct my students straight to their resources needed to complete the activity.  Since I teach pre-K, I also liked being able to add an audio link for my audience to complete the task independently.  Overall, I see what a wonderful resource a HyperQuest OR WebQuest can offer our students and families of our community.

Hyper Quest Thoughts

As we enter into the 3rd week of this course, I am beginning to think of ideas for creating a hyper quest for my classroom.  Since I teach Pre-School, I thought it would be a good idea to build a hyper quest as a resource for a family project based on the unit of discussion in the classroom.  We are currently in a "Families" unit.  One of my favorite stories we will be discussing is "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".  I think this would be a fun hyper quest activity to explore from home.

Getting to Know Hyperstudio 5

The light has finally turned on!  My brain power is up and running again!  I have figured out how to use Hyperstudio 5 and am very close to completing my first project ~ Getting to know me!  This could be an awesome way for students to create a project based on their learning.  My wheels are starting to turn as I am thinking of the possibilities this program has to offer me both personally as well as professionally.

My first week back to school after summer break.

As much as I enjoyed my small summer break... I am happily back at school ready to learn and utilize new resources that will enhance my classroom teaching experiences.  It's funny how a couple of weeks diminishes your brain power!  It is also amazing to me to find so many new resources to utilize for personal as well as educational purposes.  I am excited to learn how to use Hyperstudio 5.  I spent a lot of hours and only finished one card.  I see the possibilities and find myself with OCD as I do and re-do my only card!  I'm excited to see the end product.
